Sabre Review:

I purchased a 68” 47 pound Sabre (May 2006) for shooting traditional 3D tournaments.  It is a joy to shoot.  This bow makes a little noise but I am not going bother putting string silencers on since it does not bother the 3D targets.   I want any extra speed I can get.
I am shooting 1716 Easton XX75 Gamegetter IIs with it.  They fly nice and flat.  The limbs are Birdseye Bocote veneer over a Black Walnut core.  The riser is Rosewood. Luckily I am used to shooting a compound so the extra weight the Rosewood adds to this bow is not an issue.  Because this bow weighs more than the average recurve I find that the weight helps steady it when shooting.  There is no hand shock.  The grip is super
comfortable to hold.
